Struggling with sleep? Try this light hack!

More often than not, we rely on artificial lighting before our babies bedtime and during their wind down routine 💡

Why is this a problem? 😖
Many homes have beautiful white LED lights that, unfortunately, disrupt our circadian rhythm and inhibit the release of melatonin, our sleepy hormone, by tricking our brain into perceiving it to still be daytime which can cause bedtime resistance 😩🆘

You can reduce this impact by simply pulling down your LED lights and adjusting the settings to WW (warm white) for your entire home, or on a specific set of lights designated for your babies dinner and wind-down routine 🥰

Making this small but positive adjustment aims to minimise disruption to their circadian rhythm and reduce bedtime resistance as warm white or amber globes are less disruptive ☺️

If your baby is still resisting bedtime even with amber globes or warm white LED lighting during their wind-down routine and you need support to consolidate their sleep, book a consultation or download our Sleep Essentials Guide at www.settletosleep.com.au so we can restore sleep for you and your family 🩷🫶🏻💫
