Does your baby or toddler show signs of:
• Fatigue
• Mood swings
• Asthma
• Lack of appetite
• Memory problems
• Lack of concentration, or
• Sleep disturbances?
One factor to consider is the placement of their bed and the potential exposure to electric and magnetic fields (EMF), commonly known as radiation ☢️. Since EMF is invisible to the naked eye, it is often overlooked 😖. To assess your baby’s potential EMF exposure, consider purchasing an EMF detector, like the OEM EMF Meter Frequency Tester📱
This is because a study by the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at The University of Melbourne found that persistent EMF exposure significantly hinders the body’s ability to produce melatonin, the sleepy hormone that regulates our sleep patterns 🌤️🌙. This occurs because the pineal gland, responsible for melatonin production, perceives EMF radiation as light, subsequently reducing melatonin levels and impacting our quality of sleep 😫
So, how do we fix this? 😫
We recommend moving your baby’s bed as far away from electrical devices and power points as possible, as electric fields are stronger in close proximity and weaken with distance 👏🏻. Also consider electrical devices or power points in the adjacent room, as electrical wires within a connecting wall can also affect your baby’s EMF exposure 😖
While turning off unused power points does lower EMF exposure, it doesn’t* eliminate radiation completely. This is due to the ongoing flow of electrical currents through the wiring in the wall that is still connected to the main electrical switchboard 🏠
It is important to minimise radiation if you or your baby sleep near an electrical outlet or panel. This is not only because you both will spend a significant portion of your life in that environment, and prolonged EMF exposure can be harmful, but also because it contributes to achieving a much better quality of sleep 👏🏻
If despite these changes your baby continues to wake frequently and you need support in consolidating their sleep, book a consultation or download the @settletosleep Sleep Essentials Guide at www.settletosleep.com.au to help restore sleep for you and your family 💫🩷🌸
